Talitha Cumi

Mark 5:41

Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”

For the little girl, who had to grow up fast, He says you’re still His little girl. The life you accepted because of His absence is not the life He holds for you. It’s the life you were conditioned to accept and then force you to be a woman, a woman you don’t even recognize anymore. He is calling you to look at the water’s reflection of you and not the mirror or phone. The woman He created from Adam rib is not to be condemned for eating the fruit from the tree of good and evil. He said look at this angle, it was your childlike innocence that allowed you to be charmed out of His presence, yet it was your honesty that saved you from His wrath and like the loving Father He is, He prophesied over you leaving you with grace, wisdom and a gift (to bear life in you). The same Lord of Eden is the same Lord of Earth now. He is saying Talitha Cumi, little girl, I say to you, arise.

Get off your back and arise,

Get off your high horse and arise,

Get off social media and arise,

Let go of idolizing each other and arise,

Get out of your flesh and arise,

For your life is at hand.

I pray that you stop putting concrete in your garden. Trust and believe that the God you know deep down in your heart who poured and still pours His spirit upon the face of the earth through His perfect son is still the God inviting you to return back to Eden unashamed, humble in spirit and truth. I pray that you stop seeking youth preserving short term remedies and say yes to eternal life, in Christ Jesus. We’ll always be His children but will you call him, Father?
