GOD’s Math is 1 + 1 = 1

When you hunger and thirst for knowledge, He will satisfy you. I thank the Lord and give the highest praise to the Father God who gave us Christ Jesus as a Savior and Friend.

I love Genesis and all of its history in regard to the existence of man and of course the introduction to our Creator. In the midst of asking Him, what is your will for me? What is my purpose as a woman in this season and times, the Holy Spirit, revealed to me another layer of understanding of God making man and woman. O’ my soul. What a mighty God, loving God, thoughtful God we serve.

My best remembrance and interpretation of what the Holy Spirit revealed to me that day was Man (Adam), desired companionship and God knowing his creation, he presented Woman to Adam after the deep sleep. Now as I went to reread Genesis of course in true holy fashion, I come across Genesis 1:27, where God already created man and woman in heaven before bringing them both to fruition in Eden.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Genesis 1: 27 (NKJV)

My mind was blown and I thanked the Lord for the word reveal because…what?! He speaks a thing, then brings that thing to life, then at HIS divine timing he brings it together. I thought I was going to get deep about Adam already having Eve within him and that’s why men have XY chromosome. While also further explaining true companionship, husband and wife, tiller and helper, a man mate being brought to him by God yet He elated me and took me deeper.

We go about desiring what the world tells us to desire in a husband/wife and never truly understanding that He already created you and your complementary mate in heavenly places, before you were born. He is preparing you both to recognize that the helper you need cannot be found until he presents it before you and at the right time. GOD is so and too good to us that He allows us to chase after the wind because He knows we’re not meant to be alone, yet we are still immature in the mind to know patience and obedience. Remember Adam gave names to all the livestock and to every animal of the field but for Adam he had yet a suitable helper. Then GOD put Adam to sleep and formed a woman out of his rib.

It reminded me that I know nothing about nothing until He lets me know something. Concluding me to understand my purpose as a woman of God in this season and in these times, is to continue to be a woman of God walking in obedience, love, and confidence in Him who died for us.
